Pay What You Can Headshot Sessions
Summer 2025
Professional headshots, accessible to everyone. Pay what you can — no questions asked.
What are the Pay What You Can (PWYC) sessions?
I believe everyone should have access to professional, high-quality headshots — whether you're just starting out or updating your portfolio. This initiative is about making headshots accessible without financial barriers.
Good headshots can open doors — let’s make sure nothing stands in your way.

How does it work?

Book your shoot!
The Pay What You Can Headshot Initiative offers a 60-minute headshot session (normally priced at £150, including 2 retouched images) at whatever price you can afford—no strings attached. If you would like to purchase additional photos, you can do so during the image selection process —though there’s absolutely no pressure to do so, only if it feels right for you.
My goal with this initiative is to make it as accessible as possible. To ensure its continued sustainability, I kindly ask that those who are able to contribute more do so. This will help keep the initiative running and allow me to offer more opportunities to others who may need it.
Due to the nature of this, I am only able to offer a limited number of slots and dates. The more contributions I receive, the more spots I will be able to open up to others through this initiative.
FAQs
I’m not a model or actor – can I still book a session?
Absolutely. Most of my clients aren’t professional models – just real people who want photos that feel like them. I’ll guide you through everything so you feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera.
What should I wear?
Bring a few options you feel comfortable in—something simple, fitted, and solid in colour usually works best. Avoid busy patterns or logos. If you’re unsure, we can talk through wardrobe in advance.
Can I bring music to play during my session in case that helps?
Of course! Anything but ABBA ;)
Can I bring different outfits or looks?
Yes! Feel free to bring changes of clothes, accessories, and styling options—we’ll plan a mix that suits your needs. If you’re unsure, feel free to bring more, and we’ll decide what works on the day
How many photos do I get?
My PWYC session includes 2 retouched images. You’ll receive an online proof gallery to choose your favourites. More edits can be purchased if you'd like.
Can I bring examples of other headshots I've seen that I like and want to aim for?
Yeah, do it! I can't guarantee my shots will come out like them but it's always handy to have a visual idea of what you like.
Can I use the images for LinkedIn, Spotlight, websites, etc.?
Yes! All sessions include personal usage rights for professional promotion—LinkedIn, websites, casting sites, and social media. If you need them for commercial use (e.g. advertising or print campaigns), let me know and we’ll discuss licensing.
Where is your studio?
I'm working from a beautiful natural light studio at Parkhall Business Centre, 40 Martell Rd, Norwood, London SE21 8EN for June and July. The space is easily accessible by public transport, and there is parking available —full directions will be sent upon booking.
Can we snap just a couple of portraits at the end of my headshots session?
Of course!
